PRACTICAL BASIC AND
ADVANCED COURSE IN ORAL IMPLANTOLOGY
The course consists in 5 days of surgery with patients. The students, under the close supervision of the Tutors, will make a wide range of oral implant treatments, from single tooth replacement to the total edentulous rehabilitations.
BASIC COURSE: Each student will treat every day a surgical case as first operator and will assist the partner as the second operator in the next case. On Monday, the first day of the course, each student will have to deal with a total edentulous case, upper or lower depending on the
case available, and will then follow the case even prosthetically till the finalization with the delivery and the application of the prosthesis type “TORONTO” that will be made on Friday.
In the days from Tuesday to Friday, every student will treat single as well as multiple edentulous cases, accompanying when necessary reconstructive surgeries of the peri-implant hard and soft tissue.
ADVANCED COURSE: During Advanced Courses will be treated cases of complicated total edentulous rehabilitation, cases need reconstructions of the alveolar ridges, with autogenous bone graft taken from the external mandible oblique ridge or chin, cases need Split crest , sinus lift with lateral as well as crestal access with grafting etc..
